Bitcoin Donations

Thank you for choosing to donate bitcoin to Nick for New York. Before donating, please read the following information. Proceeding to donate bitcoin indicates you understand the following:

1) I am a United States citizen or an individual lawfully admitted with permanent residence status (e.g., “green card holder”)
2) This contribution is made from my own personal funds and is not made from the general treasury funds of a corporation, labor organization, or national bank.
3) I am not a federal government contractor

Contributions from foreign nationals and corporations are prohibited. Contributions to Nick for New York Inc. are not deductible as charitable donations for federal income tax purposes. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to obtain and report the name, address, employer and occupation for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 during the election cycle. Individuals may contribute a maximum of $5,200 in the 2013-2014 election cycle ($2,600 for the Primary and $2,600 for the General Election).  For donations above $2600, you will comply with legal requirements by designating the first $2600 to the Primary Election and remaining funds to the General Election.
